Who we are

Information we collect

Deep Deck is designed to collect as little information as possible. Depending on how you use the App, information may include:

• Content you create in the App (for example: custom deck titles, custom cards, notes, and session settings).
• Support communications (for example: if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include).

What we do not collect

• No accounts/login: we do not collect account identifiers because the App does not require an account.
• No ads: we do not use advertising SDKs.
• No analytics SDKs: we do not use Firebase Analytics or similar third-party analytics SDKs.
• No cloud sync: we do not upload your decks, cards, or session content to our servers.

Conversation answers and sensitive data

Deep Deck is designed for meaningful conversations. Some prompts could lead you to share sensitive information. We do not need sensitive information to run the App. Please avoid entering content you wouldn’t want stored on your device.

How your data is stored

• On-device by default: decks, cards, and session-related content are stored locally on your device.
• Sharing is your choice: if the App provides any share/export feature, it only happens when you initiate it.

How we use information

We use information only to:

• Provide the App’s core features.
• Respond to support requests.
• Protect the App and users from abuse (for example: investigating a reported issue).

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your in-app content with third parties because we do not collect it on our servers.

We may share limited information only in these situations:

• Legal and safety: if required by law, or to protect users, the public, or our rights.
• Business transfer: if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that deal (but Deep Deck content remains on-device unless you separately provided it to us).

Data retention

• On-device content: remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
• Support emails: retained as needed to resolve issues and for reasonable record-keeping.

Your choices

• You can delete your app data using in-app delete controls (if available) or by uninstalling the App.
• You can contact us to request deletion of information you sent directly to us by email.

Children’s privacy

Deep Deck is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us at nomadnumbers+deepdeck@gmail.com.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. However, no method of storage is 100% secure. Since Deep Deck stores content on your device and does not sync it to our servers, you control your data primarily through your device security.

International users

If you use the App from outside the United States, any information you send us via email may be processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” above. If changes are material, we may provide a notice in the App or on the page where this policy is hosted.
